All bidding, prebidding, payments, taxes, order management, and buyer support for purchases happen on Whatnot. This website only previews upcoming Rag & Rust auction items and links to Whatnot.
Auction starts and prebids
Rag & Rust sets auction starts per item and prelists items for prebids when available. If a direct Whatnot item link is available, this website links straight to that item. Otherwise, it links to the Rag & Rust Whatnot profile or show page.
Shipping
During a show, buyer shipping follows the current Whatnot show setting, now advertised as $8 max shipping where the Whatnot show cap applies. Rag & Rust uses packed weight and shipping profiles to help keep Whatnot shipping accurate. Most auction items start at $1 unless noted otherwise on Whatnot; larger or awkward-to-ship items may start higher to account for shipping adjustments.
Shipping charges, labels, tracking, bundles, adjustments, and timelines are handled under Whatnot's shipping system and policies.
Condition and secondhand items
Rag & Rust sells secondhand, vintage, storage-unit, thrifted, estate, and similar finds. Items may show age, use, wear, missing packaging, or unknown history unless stated otherwise. Please review photos, titles, live show comments, and Whatnot listing details before bidding.
Returns and order issues
Because sales happen on Whatnot, return requests, order issues, delivery questions, and buyer protection questions should be handled through Whatnot's order and support tools.
