Return and Refund Policy
Rag & Rust Return and Refund Policy
At Rag & Rust, most items are secondhand, vintage, used, collectible, or one-of-a-kind. Because of that, all items are sold as shown and described.
We want buyers to feel protected when something goes wrong, but we do not accept returns for buyer’s remorse, change of mind, fit, size preference, or because an item is no longer wanted.
When You May Be Eligible for a Refund
You may be eligible for a refund, partial refund, replacement, or other resolution if:
The wrong item was sent.
An item was missing from your order.
The item was significantly not as described.
The item arrived damaged.
The item was defective in a way not shown or described.
The package was lost or not received.
The item was not shipped within a reasonable timeframe.
Request Window
Please contact us by the earlier of:
14 days from delivery, or
30 days from purchase.
Requests made after this window may not be eligible for a refund or return.

A short explanation of the issue
Clear photos or video showing the problem
Photos of the packaging if the item arrived damaged
We may request additional information before approving a return, refund, partial refund, replacement, or other resolution.
Returns
If a return is required, we will provide return instructions.
Returned items must be sent back in the same condition they were received.
Items must include all original pieces, parts, accessories, tags, packaging, and included items when applicable.
If an item is returned in a different condition, missing parts, altered, used further, damaged after delivery, or not the same item originally sent, the refund may be denied or reduced.
Return Shipping
If the issue was caused by Rag & Rust, such as the wrong item being sent or an item being significantly not as described, we may provide a prepaid return label.
If the return is approved for another reason, return shipping may be the buyer’s responsibility.
Refunds
Approved refunds are usually sent back to the original payment method.
Once a refund is issued, it may take 3–5 business days for your bank, card provider, or payment processor to post the refund. Whatnot gives a similar 3–5 business day estimate for approved refunds.
Items Not Eligible for Return or Refund
We generally do not accept returns or issue refunds for:
Buyer’s remorse
Change of mind
Fit or size preference
Color differences caused by screen settings
Normal wear shown in photos or described in the listing
Used, vintage, or secondhand condition that was shown or described
Items damaged after delivery
Items altered, cleaned, washed, opened, used, or modified after delivery
Incorrect item returned
Refused delivery
Failure to pick up a package held by the carrier
Secondhand, Vintage, and Used Items
Most Rag & Rust items are secondhand, vintage, used, or previously owned. These items may show age, wear, marks, patina, fading, small flaws, or other signs of previous use.
We do our best to photograph and describe items clearly, but buyers should review all photos and descriptions before purchasing.
Final Sale Items
Clearance items, deeply discounted items, mystery lots, parts/repair items, and items marked “final sale” may not be eligible for return unless the wrong item was sent or the item was significantly not as described.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at support@ragandrust.com.
We cannot guarantee cancellation once an order has been packed, labeled, or shipped.
